From the country of Georgia and raised in New Jersey, Tamoona is a singer/songwriter born into becoming a musician. Music has always been around her, as her dad performed overseas with multiple bands and at just ten years old, she participated in a singing competition. While she might have started on her career in music only a couple years ago, she knows that she can provide hits and the rest will be history. Tamoona’s sound stems from her love for the 80’s, or as she calls it “the best time period of music”, but that she puts her own country spin on it.

In “Try”, Tamoona pays tribute to her home country in a power anthem of triumph to push through even in the hardest times. She sings “even if you lose this fight/ You’ve got to get up, get up and smile, you can do anything/ believe, you gotta try.”
